The Biggest Snow Storm in Mn. in 8 years!

The snow is still coming down! Although the ice and snow is not good for travel, it is pretty!
Will's first flight was cancelled and then they gave him another flight which was also cancelled! BUT he did fly out this evening so he is gone for 2 weeks to Boulder Colorado!

My plans, are to get the scrapbooking room set up and to scrap scrap scrap! Oh by the way I did not make the Design Team this time for the Scrapbook Chalet! I had a feeling so had already accepted it, it is okay as I have some other things happening!

I have a possible offer brewing at a LSS! I am going to continue as a member at the Chalet! Hey why not, I have friends there and there are some great contest, although I will admitt still don't understand that last one.

I also am excited about two new sites. Oh and now I have more time to surf too! Never understood before how people have time to spend a lot of time surfing and dt. and so now I will have more time to do that and get to see some of the new ideas out there!

Another Layout done with THe March DREAMSTREET kit from THE SCRAPBOOK CHALET! WOW I really am enjoying this kit! I have loved everything in it! I have done two layouts and a Metal album which I will upload later today and I still have lots more to use from the kit! I have some more planned to do with it later today after getting some shut eye!

I really do have to clean house alittle first though! YEs a necessary chore! Hey somebody has to do it! Not alot to do but gotta do it!

Week 5 of the Survivior contest at The Scrapbook Chalet!

Hoping Emily can Dazzle me up some votes! She sure does Dazzle me with her smile! I used BasicGrey for my layout! I am also working on a layout for the immunity challenge so that if I can't get votes with her dazzling smile then maybe I can get the immunity and not need a vote! LOL!

I auctually tried the embroidery on it too! that was interesting and fun! I need to start uploading for the Dt call too!

Week 4 Scrapathalon WOW WHAT A WEEK

HERE IS WHAT I did for the canvas challenge at Survivior at the Scrapbook Chalet!

oh and this is another item I altered too which is my first piece I have done like this and I am anxious to another that is fancier and better, the next will be a little larger so I can tighter the lacing in the back better!

This was made with canvas I cut and made into a candle cozy!

Last but not least, I thought I would add a photo of the yard yesterday showing our total snow accumulation after another 3 inches so we now have about 8 inches and we are at -9 degrees right now!

A New Do!

I did it all yesterday! New cut ( not alot but the style is different) now if I can only get the hang of how "she" style it, which I like better then today! and new color! and I am wearing my contacts again too!

Sure wish it was with extra votes, I think once I got 2 but it is usually 1. Hey I know beggers can't be chosers but I want to do something that just makes them go WOW! MY little sunshine!!!

This is my Emily and a scraplift I did for an immunity challenge on the Scrapbook Chalet! Golly Emily gets prettier every day! I loved the way the sun was hitting her face!!! Truthfully the title... Our Sun, So Brite came from I wanted to do Our Sunshine but had no Hs left! but she is the sun in the day, except for when she throughs a temper tamptrum! LOL!
Well I did not win the Immunity challenge but I also did not end up needing it and besides I had already planned on scraplifting this layout! I love it so!

Cuddles

I spent last night watching tv with the kids and cuddling! I will miss having them around but I will enjoy the quiet! I just wanted to say how great it was to cuddle and how great my grandkids are! just some information on the photos! Jay Jay (the oldest boy) and I started cuddling and of course Noah had to join! Noah who won't keep a shirt on lately!!!! He also is Mr. Jealous! Then Emily decided she wanted to be in the photo to so she came and cuddled too but that was okay cause I will take all the cuddles I can get! BY THE WAY JUST TO ADD I WENT TO THE DENTIST SO I LOOK EVEN MORE PALE AND YUCKY THEN USUAL! LOL!

Emily's Birthday!

Grandma threw Emily a birthday party! The theme (what else!) a scrapbooking party! THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN! Aunt Mindy came to help Grandma with the party because Mommy just stayed downstairs in her bedroom watching the tv the whole time except to come up for a plate of food!
But Grandma enjoyed herself with the girls and mommy had already told me "I HATE SCRAPBOOKING" and Emily just loves it! The girls were so bubbly just like my sweet little Emily! I feel sad that they will be most likely taking her out of a school district where Emily is doing exceptionly well and made so many great friends! Emily will miss them! they have helped with her self esteem alot and so has Aunt Mindy and Grandpa!

The Scrapbook Chalet Survivor Contest Starts!

Yesterday was the first day of the Chalet Survivor Contest- and I managed to get my layout done for Challenge #1 done and up by the end of the first day! In fact I was the first one done and I am pleased with the layout! Although the blue in the pattern paper does not show up well on line! I really don't expect to win with all the great talent in the contest but I do expect to be motivated to get some great layouts done!!!!

My favorite photo of the year!!

I guess because my mom got to come visit! and because her and Noah had so much fun together! I have plans for the layout but have not done it yet! I enjoyed the visit so much at thanksgiving and cannot wait for another visit! I also cannot wait to go to s.c. for a visit but I don't know when that will happen right now!!

Will I ever catch up! NO!

Can you believe that I am this far behind? Course I tend to do layouts that are recent and barely ever do the old ones!!! I was always someone who took loads of photos even before scrapbooking! so I will never scrap them all!

The making of a gingerbread house!

I bought a kit to make a gingerbread house from Create a treat with the kids! NEVER ever will I buy a kit from this company again. I was lucky that I had some fondant from wilton, extra candy and a container of frosting. We had fun after 2 hours of trying to get the house built. If I had not had the extra stuff it would have been a flop! Noah had fun! he was the taster of candy and picture taker (or so he thought!!!)
After we were done building the house, I decided that I had to get even with Chelsea for trying to constantly steal taste of the frosting so I got into a frosting fight with her!
Oh by the way! I won the frosting fight!!!!!

Gifts for Emily and Jay Jay's teachers

Well I did it! I got the gifts done in time for Jay Jay's and Emily's teachers and then guess what! School was cancelled due to an ice storm and now the kids don't go to school until Jan.! OH WELL, they are done and wrapped! so here is a picture of what I painted! 

My Favorite Christmas Present Ever!

I did this layout with my first kit from Scrapbook Chalet!!! The Kit is Fabulous if I don't say so myself!!! Oh my! I have gotten so behind! Here is my latest painting

Just painted two ornaments for a swap I am in! one I put into a card and used paper from the newest and first kit from the Scrapbook Chalet!!! I am so excited about the Scrapbook Chalet! We will be starting a great survivior contest very soon! Laura is coming up with some great challenges already!!

Layout for grand reopening at Memory safe but a dollar short and an hour late!

Did not see the deadline so missed it, course I have been struggling with migraines for days or I would have several layouts done that I have planned and a few painting things! I am really sick of these!

Well anyhow here is the layout!

Asking My wonderful blog friends for prayer!

I am in great need of prayer!!!
I am suppose to (per md order) avoid stress as much as possible. But I
am not able to due to home situation and am having increased pain and shocky/numbness
in my face. Severe migraines, dizziness, nausea/vomiting and sleepless ness.

My Son and his wife living with us is the cause and it is a no win situation!! Hubby and I worry about the boys especially if they move out but I can no longer take the stress! I have tried and I have seen so wonderful things happen and I do love them all but when they are critized for what is not right they attack and I am feeling extremely verbally abuse! Hubby wants me to try to continue, but I do not have the strenght to try ( which is impossible) to keep my home clean with 5 others besides us living with us and also take the abuse. I was put out of work because of inability to work, and I feel I am working harder at home and I feel I am headed for a nervous breakdown, I am having migraines all the time,I hardly sleep,and I feel weaker and number on my right side daily. I know I am pouring out my guts here but I feel there is no one is the world to talk to and I need to share because..........

I know that there is a chance the My daughter in law will come to my blog and read it again and I do not feel threatened by this because I have just stated my feelings and what is happeing and I want to say I am also praying for her! yesterday I went for a walk with the dog and my granddaughter Emily wanted to come along and so she and I did a prayer walk and we prayer for everyone to have a peace that passes understanding and for Chelsea my granddaugter to learn the importance of respecting others and adults and for all negativity to be band from her ears!! Now if there is a problem with what I am writing and praying then maybe someone else needs to pray also.

Woo hoo the Scrapbook Chalet opens Friday!!

Well THE MEMORY SAFE www.memorysafe.com that I was on the design team for was sold to Amy, since Laura had to change names with her move to another state so now the site I am on the design team for is www.scrapbookchalet.com and the grand opening is friday!

Jason was a power ranger! Emily was a monarch butterfly and Noah was pablo from the backyardagains! They came back with a bag full of loot and Aunt Mindy and Uncle Mike came back looking tired! They had a bad experience with a local disc jockey who scares little kids and should be ashamed of himself. In fact it was so bad that I just wrote a letter to the editor of the paper!
