What inspires you? For me there are many ways I am inspired, from a photo to a poem, from nature and from things that happen in my life and from challenges that others make.
Earlier today I took a photo of some roses in my garden playing and learning my new camera! I love love love it! Anyways I had not planned it but once I downloaded the photo I then realized I had caught part of a statue in the background. The statue is one that my husbands family had in a bouquet at my mom's funeral. My mom loved roses and so the angel was placed in my rose garden and many times when I work in my garden I ended up talking to my mom or just thinking of her. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw the statue peaking back at me in the photo as I felt like my mom was responding and sharing the joy of how pretty my roses looked! Of course now I am inspired to scrapbook the photo and tell my story!
I want to challenge you to tell me what inspires you? Have you ever had a surprise peak out of a photo for you?
Here is what I will do! Each person that posts a comment telling me what inspires them will get a entry into a drawing for a rak from me! Also to earn a 2nd entry if you post me a link of where you posted and showed something that inspires you! This challenge will end on wed. Aug. 25th and the winner to be announced on Aug. 26th

Thank you for dropping by my blog.
Inspiration usually strikes when I least expect it. Like in your photo something that you were not planning to take a picture of is suddenly there. When these "out of nowhere" inspirations hit, I try to write them down. If I don't write it down, it is gone as quickly as it came. I find my self being most inspired by found objects, a rusty piece of tin, random scraps of fabric, next to each other in a bin or even the pattern the shadow leaves make on the ground.

I am in the market for a new camera, what kind did you get? It does make a beautiful photo.

they are gorgeous!!!
Most of the time it's pictures that are usually the inspiration or sometimes it's the pattern paper:-)
WOW! That photo is amazing, and those roses are incredibly gorgeous! How cool that the angel in the background was an expected surprise when you uploaded the photo! Just beautiful!
I am inspired by new products, a great photo, my girls, pretty color combinations, etc.
I am usually inspired to scrap by my photos or just the happiness I get from the memories!
Your roses are gorgeous BTW!
Usually by one of my dgd's or a challenge! Love that pic Susue!
Wonderful photo! I can be inspired by many things - smiling faces, nature, other people, emotions, etc.
I get inspiration from friedns such as over at Scrap-friendzy.com and twopeasinabucket.com. I often wander through the gallery looking for colors, patterns and design ideas. Love looking at the photos on Pioneerwoman.com. Great place to learn about taking photos.
