Whats new?

I have done quite a few new layouts that I have not shared!

So lately I have been thinking about things I want to do or change in my life.

Wow that sounds bad! LOL

here is a list of a few things and not necessarily in the order I posted.

1. I want to learn more about photography

2. I want to scrap better...

3. I want to lose weight

4. I want to be better about not procrastinating

5. There is always room to be a better housekeeper

6. I so want to be more organized but how do you learn to be organized

7. I want to be rich LOL

Technique Tuesdays and Idol search

Scrap Friendzy has started something new. Each Tuesday we are posting a technique tutorial. The very first one was posted on Feb. 7th by Tracey, one of my favorite scrappers! She showed how to make these great ribbon flowers. I believe I am addicted! I love them! Stop by Scrap Friendzy and check out Technique Tuesday.

So I used them on the layout I made for My Scraps and More's Idol Search week #3. Stop by and check out the fun challenges

Now I will also share that I tried another technique also. I cannot remember for the life of me where I saw the link on this technique. It was shared on one of the sites I frequent! The technique is where you stamp images on the edge of the pattern paper to add to its design and make it seem as though it is part of the pattern paper. Sure wish I remembered where I saw the idea!

Now I'm not going to lie and say I'm a huge football fan. But I admit that I have many football photos of my grandson from the last 3 years to scrap! So I chose photos from last years football games. That does not mean you must use foot

Now for my ingredient. I want to see chipboard on your LO. I have used chipboard that I cut with my cricut to make the football. I also used chipboard for the red star. Both pieces were altered with paint. Can't wait to see what you create. Remember to link your LO up to this thread in the forum after you have collected all your ingredients and chosen your 6 or 7 to use.

My own layout sketch!

I posted a sketch challenge on Scrap Friendzy using one of my own sketches. Not my first sketch but the first I have shared with others (layout sketches) I have share card ones but never a layout one. Anyways some of the members have done the sketch and I am finding it is a great feeling to see others us my sketch. My Dream

yes once again I have neglected my blog! It has been a bad few months but my word for this year is POSSIBLE because I truly believe all things are possible when you trust in God! So I am trying to kick things up and enjoy the things I can do! Which include trying to keeping up on my blog!

I just finished a layout I did for two places, one being the wonderful Sketch-a-thon over at Scrap Friendzy This is for sketch #5 and is one of our very own Dt Shannon's original sketches.

I also did the layout for Challenge #12 at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.
