So many photos, NEVER enough time!

I took so many photos on our short but sweet spring break vacation! I wanted to run right home and scrap them all! I was glad CVS had a special if you printed 50 or more prints they were 10 cents apiece. So I printed over 60 just to get me started!

I scrapped one of them already for the Paper Secrets SYAO2 challenge! It is a layout with my daughter and her cousin (my niece)

Not alot of scrapping lately but!

I have been scrapping once a week on Paper Secrets SYAO2 contest~! And this week my layout was chosen for the gallery spotlight. Check it out here!

Right now I am busy working on some new photos to scrap! We are on vacation for the first time in years! I took some great photos of the boys yesterday! Sharing a few!

Whats new?

I have done quite a few new layouts that I have not shared!

So lately I have been thinking about things I want to do or change in my life.

Wow that sounds bad! LOL

here is a list of a few things and not necessarily in the order I posted.

Technique Tuesdays and Idol search

Scrap Friendzy has started something new. Each Tuesday we are posting a technique tutorial. The very first one was posted on Feb. 7th by Tracey, one of my favorite scrappers! She showed how to make these great ribbon flowers. I believe I am addicted! I love them! Stop by Scrap Friendzy and check out Technique Tuesday.

So I used them on the layout I made for My Scraps and More's Idol Search week #3. Stop by and check out the fun challenges

Now I will also share that I tried another technique also. I cannot remember for the life of me where I saw the link on this technique. It was shared on one of the sites I frequent! The technique is where you stamp images on the edge of the pattern paper to add to its design and make it seem as though it is part of the pattern paper. Sure wish I remembered where I saw the idea!

Now I'm not going to lie and say I'm a huge football fan. But I admit that I have many football photos of my grandson from the last 3 years to scrap! So I chose photos from last years football games. That does not mean you must use foot

Now for my ingredient. I want to see chipboard on your LO. I have used chipboard that I cut with my cricut to make the football. I also used chipboard for the red star. Both pieces were altered with paint. Can't wait to see what you create. Remember to link your LO up to this thread in the forum after you have collected all your ingredients and chosen your 6 or 7 to use.

My own layout sketch!

I posted a sketch challenge on Scrap Friendzy using one of my own sketches. Not my first sketch but the first I have shared with others (layout sketches) I have share card ones but never a layout one. Anyways some of the members have done the sketch and I am finding it is a great feeling to see others us my sketch. My Dream

yes once again I have neglected my blog! It has been a bad few months but my word for this year is POSSIBLE because I truly believe all things are possible when you trust in God! So I am trying to kick things up and enjoy the things I can do! Which include trying to keeping up on my blog!

I just finished a layout I did for two places, one being the wonderful Sketch-a-thon over at Scrap Friendzy This is for sketch #5 and is one of our very own Dt Shannon's original sketches.

I also did the layout for Challenge #12 at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.

We hear It's in God's plan but sometimes we just don't understand WHY! I know everyone can relate to that! Well I have done a layout about this related to some stresses in my life. My layout is from my missions trip to St. Kitts in 1998. Yes I said 1998, I am a little behind! In the upper photo we are singing "This little light of Mine" to the children. We helped build a preschool on the Island of St. Kitts. In St. Kitts preschool is mandatory. The previous building had holes, it was so bad! Well that is another layout I have to do, the photos of the old building! Yep and even the photos of the new building! But for now here is the layout of the children! I pray that these children will always let their light Shine!

Wow can you believe that summer is almost over

It has amazed me how fast this summer has flown by! Today I sat out on my patio and it felt like FALL! Now I love fall but this is just a little to fast for me!!!!

It also amazes me that we are all ready at sketch #95 on the LCOM sketch blog!!!

And what an amazing sketch it is! I loved working with it!

SKETCH 91 is up!!!

WOW how time does fly! sketch 91 is up on the LET'S Capture Our Memories blog! Once again the sketch designers are AWESOME! I love the sketch! They are always so great and easy to make a gorgeous layout!

So last friday I went to a Copics Certification class! I am sold! I am in love! I truly enjoyed the class and am pleased to say that I am now a Copics Certified designer!! WOOT WOOT! Notice my little tag on the side bar on the right! It looks like this....
