I am off to Ohio!

Leaving in the morning for a painting convention in Ohio!! I am so excited! I also get to learn a technique where I will paint on scrapbook paper!!! Super excited about that!! Also excited to see what the trade show will have this year for cross over of scrapbooking versus painting!!!!

My Camera broke!!!!! But!

I am getting a new and much better one!!! YEAH a dream come true! I am so sad can you tell that my camera broke!

Not that my old camera did not take some nice photos but I had truly out grown it, I want to learn so much more!

I really want to take some classes on photography! that is a huge dream of mine!

Well maybe I will just post a few recent photos I like to say thanks to a camera that has really work hard for me! I am positive it has give me THOUSANDS OF PHOTOS and deserves a decent funeral!

Well I am home from camping but still participating in Scrapfriendzy Camp!

Yes that is right I have made it through 4 full weeks now of elimination at Scrap-friendzys Camp Contest and I want to thank all those that have voted for me! I am looking forward though to this week which is a week off from the contest! We are still doing our bonus challenges but no voting this week!

I enjoyed my week camping and was lifted up spiritually, which I trully needed! I am going to start sharing a few more tutorials and ideas and keep my blog a little more active. YES I know it is about time!!!

I wish I had taken more photos! I enjoyed my tastefully simple party tonight and I appreciate all who came and made it a success! The only photo I did take was of their newest product!

I finished my layout for the next round of Scrap-Friendzys Camp Friendzy contest in the nick of time! Well I thought it was the nick of time and then I found out they extended the finish time till saturday at noon so at least tomorrow I can put up a better photo of the layout because the photo is terrible since I took it indoors! I will put up the photo tomorrow when I take the better photo!

Off to get some rest after all that cleaning for my party! I am tired!!!

First I want to Praise God for some answers to prayer! Daughter has found a place to rent. We are praying something happens soon and she is able to get the boys! THis has been such a roller coaster ride! But God has a plan and I know all this is going to work out and those who lie and do wrong will face Him one day! Woo hoo a new look and an invitation!

Well I finally finished the remodeling and all the constructions signs are down and the plaster and dust is cleaned up! I hope you like my facelift!

Things have been a little nuts!

Seems like its in the air, the more I talk to people the more I hear that people are

having rough weeks lately! Well ours have been mighty rough! Too rough to go in to,

lets just put it this way, satan is after us and we refuse to let him win! God has a plan!

So please if you find a spare minute in your day, we would appreciate all the prayers

Golly Dylan is getting so big!

 
I got some really cute shots of Dylan today! He is growing so fast! Before I know it he will be walking! I just can't believe how time has flown! It is hard to believe such a happy baby has Cystic fibrosis! I pray his doctor is right that we are only about five years from a cure!!!

Tomorrow is the big day! My blog birthday!!! I will draw the winning name after nine pm eastern time so that everyone has a chance to post tomorrow too~

Okay I am a slacker! BUT THE BLOG CANDY IS STILL ON!

YEP I missed a few days! My son came to visit from S.C. and we helped my father in law moved out of the family home of 53 years this past weekend!

Dog Tired!

 
Yep, I missed several days! I have been so dogged tired! Finally gave in on Saturday and went to a walkin and had a major sinus infection! But the antibiotics have helped!

By the way Jack my little buddy in the picture was dog tired from chasing the kids while they looked for Easter Eggs on Easter Sunday! Wish I had gotten a picture of Jack with the "one HE found" and took off with! He thought it was a ball! LOL!

My new cupboard

This is it! All full too! Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better enough for a decent post! I did a layout today but not done scanning it so guess it will wait till tomorrow!

feeling a little better!

Both boys stayed home today and went the doctors and Noah is on antibiotic for a sinus infection!

But at least I felt better enough to start cleaning up what has been let go while I have been sick! On top of that hubby has been bringing home some stuff from his dads as his dad sold his home of many years and is moving into a retirement home. So I had to rearrange on top of being under the weather. But I adore my wonderful oak cupboard that was my hubbys grandmas. Maybe tomorrow I will share a photo of it!

Not a great day in the Kithcart household

We have decided to pass around that wonderful cold that is going around. So one child is home from school. I was suppose to help at the school bookfair but that did not happen! But not just because Jason is home, I also have it and my head feels double the normal size, I hate being sick!

Hopefully tomorrow will be a nicer post!! I was hoping to post a finished picture of my project from my class I did on saturday but I did not get it done yet! But on the way home saturday I did do some scrappy shopping!

Spring! I so love the flowers and the birds!

My flowers have poked up throught the ground and have even showed some signs of the blossums forming! How cool is that!

I have been enjoying watching the birds at my feeder and have even purchased another feeder so I can not only watch from the kitchen but now from the living room also. Today I hope to put up the gold finch feeder since I finally remembered to purchase some thistle for it!

Life is so busy taking care of my grandboys! I get so busy I forget about things like blogging! LOL!

I got POTD (Pick of the Day)for a layout I did on Scrap Friendzy Scrapbook forum! The layout is special to me as it is the last photo of my mom before she went into the hospital and was placed on a ventilator! The photo was taken with my phone and so the photo is not the best photo but still means so much!

I am so happy to finally be scrapping again! I guess I needed that time of mourning! TOO bad it did not make me a better scrapper! LOL

OH and I also finished painting my paper towel holder too! Its a design by Lynne Deptula!

Baby it's cold outside!!!

So cold that all I can do is scrap and play on the puter! Got a few more layouts done!
Cleaned the kitchen and talked on the phone with Anne which always makes me smile!

Do you know someone who can bring a smile to your face no matter how bad the day! Well that is Anne. Funny thing is I meant Anne on line on a facebook game and she has become my best friend! Unfortanelty she lives in Virginia. She and I have so much in common which is cool but the best part about her is the fact that she can always make me smile or even better laugh!

SHe really needs to give me a photo of her so I can scrap a layout about her and one of these days I really really want to meet her in person. Although I can't go to her house and stay cause she is known as the cat lady and I am allergic to cats! LOL so I guess thats one things we don't have in common!!
Also finding out that her hubby and mine have alot in common!!!

O Christmas Tree!

So I got one layout done and going to scrap more today!

Hopefully that will give me the pick me up I need!

The boys really enjoyed Christmas and it was such a blessing that they were appreciative and there was no "is there anymore" etc.

I know it's hard on them with the situation but golly you would not know and they sure show me and grandpa and aunt Mindy and uncle Mike a lot of love!

In the photos even Jack and Nikki got into the photos! LoL (although WHY are they up on the couch MIKE!)

We did miss Beauty that morning as she always knew she would get treats in her stocking too! In fact I could not bare to hang if for the other dogs! Mike got us a special ornament that is a dog paw with a spot for her photo and ironically we had bought an ornament for Jason that is red with paw prints on it to help remember her too. We will have to hang them together! Rest in peace Beauty ( we miss you!)

Golly 2009 Was a rough year!! and 2010 has started out kinda Rocky too! SO NOW I AM READY FOR SOME GOOD TIMES and trusting God will be faithful and even if they are rough I know He will carry me through!

I am going to take the losses from 2009 turn them into some beautiful scrap book pages honoring those I lost! ( I LOVE and MISS you Mom) and I am going to make this year a year of honoring and a year of ENJOYMENT! Grieving is going to be there but not my life!

SO MY WORD FOR 2010 is ENJOYMENT!!!

Yeah! I did it!

Okay, okay not when I said and not the one I said but I finally scrapped! And it went fast and smooth! I decided to do one of Noah before doing the one of Dylan first, just because I felt the mojo for it!

Also I decided I would not scrap till I had my scrap/paint area totally organized and cleaned and that took some time getting done between my mess and all the junk we are going through right now with our grandsons living with us! Let me tell you being involved with CPS can be the pits even when you are not the one who was doing something wrong! Let me tell you I am learning that they can't be trusted! Or at least I use to believe that people in those positions were honest and now I know better! But let me tell you I would lay down my life for my grandkids as would my hubby!!

First thanks Mica for bringing me back to my blog!

ON Jan. 30th My MOM was taken to be with the Lord! I miss her greatly! It had taken me a long time to even get any desire to move on! I talked daily with my mom and she was always there for me.

I encourage everyone to let your Mom know how much you love them! Always treat them with respect. It is a terrible feeling to be show disrespect from a child especially an adult child. It carves down into the heart. I hope and pray I never did that to my Mom!

I am posting a few photos and then I am going to go back to posting regularing and sharing about my grandchildren and scrapping which I must start doing as I know Mom would want me to go on!

Thanks for listening and for all who prayed all those months that we tried so hard to get her off the vent. She may have never came off the vent but I will always cherish that time spent with her and be grateful that my husband was willing to be without me while I stayed with her 750 miles away for 4 months. Somedays going to the hospital every single day were hard but looking back I would not trade a single solitary day and I am grateful to my God for each of those days!
