I was going to share a layout I did also but blogger is giving me problems uploading images today GRRRRRR!

So life is getting in the way!

LOL Life seems to get in the way sometimes and I get so behind on my blog! I truly need to find a way to make myself more consistent in posting!

I am getting excited! Next week on friday I am going to be taking a Copics class to become a Copics Certified Teacher. Being certified is not as exciting as the fact that I will learn more about my Copics markers! ALSO for the very first time ever I am going to get to meet some ladies from a scrapbook forum!!!

I think I have a new favorite layout!!! I did a scraplift from the fatastic Zoe Newburg and I just love the layout!

So, here we go. Here are 7 very random facts about me:

1) I was born in my grandmothers house because my mother refused to go to the hospital.

2) I love flowers and gardening and love the feel of working with rich soil with my bare hands.

3) I am not just a scrapper but also a decorative painter

4) I have been working for months on a huge, and I mean huge mural at my church.

5) I am a registered nurse and one of the best jobs I have had was Labor and Delivery nurse

6) I have been on three missions trips, one to Albania, one to St. Kitts and one to Macon Georgia to a Childrens home. Planning to go to Czech Republic next year.

7) I have been married to the most wonderful man for almost 36 years

I was featured

A fun scrappy contest and why I have been gone

We had a bad storm hit us last thursday and lost internet for 6 days, electric was thankfully only 2 days. The storm ripped the top off 5 of our pines. Knocked a tree across our driveway and also one fell from one side of the driveway across the driveway but did not fall as it landed and was held up by the electric wires.

thought I would share a few photos of the damage. sorry did not get any of the driveway as the electric company cleaned it up before I got out with the camera.

a wonderful new challenge blog!

Hey all you scrappers! I found a new challenge blog I am really excited about! It is called Scrapping Everyday Miracles. National scrapbooking day! win a rak!

Saturday was national scrapbooking day! I only got one layout done on saturday but I got 3 done on Sunday Mother's Day!

How was your Mother's Day? I have had better Mother's Days but it was not too bad. I have one son who gives me some grief and I will leave it at that. But I had two of my grandson's here and that was great. My oldest son moved into his first home they are buying and that was good! Cannot wait to go down south and see it!! Hubby got me a new paper trimmer I was asking for and I am thrilled with that.

I missed my own blog birthday!

I have been pretty miserable lately. Almost steady migraines, then went to the doctors and received 24 injections in the head, face and neck! Hoping it makes a difference!!! Then not sure if it is from my new med or the fact that they may have to increase my med but all I have wanted to do is sleep. So due to all those factors I missed drawing my rak winner!! so I am here now and drawing the winner! Thank you so much to all who participated!!!

Sweet 16!

Ness did it again! Another fabulous sketch! I love working with Ness's sketches and you will too! Head over the Let's Capture Our Memories Skethc Blog and check it out. Here is the Layout I did with the sketch! this is my mom at 16.

We took the boys to the movies Saturday to see "HOP" Noah laughed and laughed and Jay really enjoyed the movie. When we came out of the theater there was a display for Rango (which I don't recommend for kids). But the display was cute so Jay posed with the Rango display.

Hi from Upstate N.Y.! I am Sue Kithcart a happily married grandma of 4 active boys! I am mother to two sons and a daughter.

I started scrapbooking back in June of 2001 after getting invited to a CM party and just falling in love with my then 2 week old very first grandson! I was just sorta dabbling and playing with scrapbooking but not really sold on it yet and then I became ill and was not able to work as a nurse or even physically able to paint which I so loved. So out of a necessity to keep sane, I started playing with the scrapbooking more and started checking on scrapbooking forums, THAT is when I found out what an art scrapbooking truly was! An addiction was born, scrapbooking unlike painting I could walk away from if my pain was getting to much and not worry about cleaning it up that instance!

My scrapbooking has changed so drastically since I first started and I love love love to learn new techniques! I am always dabbling with new stuff or searching the internet for some new idea!
