Britton and Noah are having fun together

It is wonderful to see the two cousins play together so well! I pray that even though they live so many miles apart that someday they will become extremely close! They are only 8 days apart with Britton being the oldest! I hope that they will have some common interest and be able to look forward to visits from one another. I pray that each of my grandchildren will learn to only look for the best in people!
So many times people are so negative against other people and think that everyone is against them. My husbands grandmother, Florence Kithcart, God rest her sole could find good in every person and I pray that my grandchildren will be that way and I pray for the Lord to help me to be that way!!
I hear my grandchildren say " he/she gave me a dirty look (sometimes even meaning someone they see on the street they don't even know) when I hear that I tell them "no way, You can't read a look like that, so get a life, people look at you or even past you, it does not mean they are giving you a dirty look! LIFE IS WAY TO SHORT TO WORRY ABOUT LOOKS!!
So lets take time to love our family and friends and enjoy life! Take a lesson from Britton and Noah!!!

My little Britton is HERE!!!

It is so great to have all my children here! It is especially great to have all my grandchildren here ! I am loving having time with Britton! Hoping by tomorrow or the next day he will be more comfortable with me! I worry about him so much, he has been diagnosed with very mild autism. He can say a couple words and he does know some sign language! I ask anyone of my blog friends reading this to keep Britton in your prayers! Now I need to get to bed so I can be ready to play tomorrow!!

Lots of unfinished projects from HOOT!

But this one is done! Most are almost done just need little things to finish so I must get myself going and finish them but then I also bought so many new things to do and also scrapbooking supplies too! So I am excited to try all my new stuff!
My son and dil and grandbaby arrive today from S.C. also so I won't get much done this week but that's okay because I am gonna hug and love that boy and take load of photos!

My latest painting piece I finished!

 
This is the piece I just finished that I will be teaching in September! It is a really fun piece!!
I leave on Sunday for a week in Ohio for a painting convention called HOOT! Heart of Ohio Tole! I am very excited to be going! I always enjoy myself and I will get to see my painting friends from New York!!! I plan to kick off my shoes and enjoy myself and forget my problems! YEE HAW!! 

OUCH!! Poor Jay Jay!

 

Day before yesterday Jay Jay decides to try to jump from one of Grandma's antique milk cans to the other!

YOU GOT IT, He did not make it and the result he put his tooth right through his cheeck from the inside out! The hole on the outside is nothing but the inside is a gaping hole!!! The doctors went back and forth should they stitch it, or not! They finally decided not to but put him on some strong antibiotics!

Yesterday he woke up with his face huge and swollen! I took a picture yesterday but it was also red and warm to touch! We waited until today and if it was not any better he was going back to the doctor but today the warmth and redness was gone! I took some more pictures today and these are from today!! He just looked much more uncomfortable yesterday and I could not bare to put those up! 

Challenge four for Scraplyrics

the proms hubby and I went to and "We will never pass that way again" there are the lyrics to the song under the picture of the prom that goes with that theme and under the other picture is the lyrics to the song that goes with the other prom theme by Moody Blues "Nights in White Satin"

Another night of Insomnia!!!

The doctor wants me to go to the sleep lab! I told him we will wait and see and here I sit at 4 am wide awake once again! BUT I have My layout from Shawns layout challenge for today on the Scrapthathalon! It was interest yet very fun to do!!!!!!!

Well I did get some scrapping done today!

I finished up a layout I have been playing with for a few days now! I had the strips cut to go around the picture and rearranged them every which way after trying bigger pieces and layering, nothing looked right. Then I saw someone make an arrow out of a photo corner and ribbon and somehow that made me think to bend the ends to make points and now I am much happier with the layout!

The picture is of Jason and the Neighbors grandson who was visiting from California. The boys were playing together and Ben's dad took a picture of them. He gave Jason a copy of the picture and Jason came running in the house and said "Grandma, can you please scrapbook this for me!" NOW HOW CAN I RESIST THAT REQUEST?"

I can't wait to take lots and lots of pictures of Britton so I can scrap pictures of him more!! I feel bad because I have so few pictures of him to scrap! This is one of my favorites! He looks like he is trying to tell me something!! Like maybe he misses me!!! LOL!!

Camp!

Will and I decided to go check out our churches Family camp tomorrow instead of going to our church for service! Looking forward to a tent revival service! Ready for some Spiritual uplifts!
I have really been praying alot about some things, apologized for somethings I wrote which I removed a few days back when I was so hurt by family not only to God but also to the person who also apologized. I was sincere that I was sorry I hurt her but I also explained that she has a sounding block and I do not and that I have to have a way to let out the feelings or I will go crazy. I also explained that it is not possible to talk as that just does not work. Well anyways I am turning it over to God at this point, I am going to let the Lord have my concerns and HE KNOWS WHERE MY HEART IS and HE ALSO KNOWS EXACTLY WHERE OTHERS HEARTS ARE TOO! I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

I also thank Jeanne for her support and for the Lord leading her to call me! I do need a pm though since my mind can be forgetful of the great site you told me about that has some great new ideas that I want to visit!

Well I did not get much scrapping done today! ended up with a migraine!! Started to clean down stair some, want all the rooms downstairs as clean as the main part of the house is but we ended up going over to Mindys for awhile.

Scraplyrics challenge #3 completed!!! YEAH!

So far so good! I have completed 3 of the Scraplyrics challenges! So I am hoping to try to keep up and do them all! Loving how it came out, just wish the scan showed all the shading and highlighting I auctually did when painting the letters!! It was a fun piece to do and the most sewing I believe I have done so far and I think I will start doing more! Funny I ended up not doing anything with my friend today but the quietness was great and a nice change so that is okay! I enjoyed the day and feel much more at peace and have spent some time reminding myself that GOD IS IN CONTROL!

Friday plans!!!

Thursday night the gang are all going to sleep at Mindy's so Will and I will have some romantic private time. Then on Friday I am planning with Deb to hopefully get together and paint. I think that her and I can become pretty good friends. We have alot of similar likes and I really enjoy teaching her to paint. She is hungry to learn and applies what she learns and tries it on her own. She is talking about opening a shop in her home and when she does she wants to sell my work and also hire me to teach for her. It sounds exciting but she is going to have her daughter help her with getting started in the business end of it and I wonder if she realizes yet how much it takes to get into business for yourself and just how much work it is! I pray it does not scare her off! I have been praying for her son when doing my devotions also, he is serving in Iraq! I am going to get some painting done tomorrow, then hopefully on the weekend some scrapbooking!

Britton is coming to visit!

Just a few more weeks and Britton will be coming to visit!! I am so looking forward to it~ I look forward so much to seeing Kevin and Maria also! I just can't wait to see them all and to spend time with them! It would be great if we could have the new camper by then and maybe go camping. I look forward to showing them the area and introducing them to our church family here. I am also sure Kevin and Maria are in much need of a nice quiet vacation after all their work and Britton's therapy too! It should be fun!

Decided against Carpal Tunnel Surgery and now

I think I may even hold off on the shots of cortisone. If I take them then I will have to be careful for awhile with using my wrists and not overdo and I don't see how that will work. So I have been really thinking about it and I have pretty much decided to cancel my appt. today. I don't want to depend on others to do things and then they don't get done and I will get myself upset and also I just feel it is the right decision at this time.

Did the 2nd scraplyric challenge

I found this one much harder! Probaly because I decided to kill two birds with one stone and do another layout from the july kit at the same time! I am not so sure if I am pleased or not. Waiting to hear honest opinions from others! I used a old picture from 1993 of me! Also an old song that probaly most of the Dt won't even know since it is so old!

Flood in our old Hometown! Scary!

We decided last minute to take a trip to New York to check on hubby's dad and our camper, also ds and dd were going to NY and hubby was worried about them going and conditions there so we went to! It was not a peaceful vacation but at least I did see some friends!
But onto the photos! the pictures above, one obviously is a camper the was underwater. The other is a picture of fields that were a few days before all filled with corn! but the corn is all been destroyed!! We saw fields and fields of destroyed corn!

I saved some of the scarrier pictures for last! YES we drove down this road around this house to get to where son was staying at his sil's house! A nurse I use to work with lost her house also! The hospital I use to work for is still closed, they had to evacuate all patients to another hospital!
WOW this never happen while I lived there and the storage unit that dd and sil stored there stuff in exactly one year ago waiting to move here with us was hit bad and the area we had was hit the worse! so glad this did not happen a year ago! SO sorry for all these people! Really hits you when you know the people, or know the area!! Hubbby's dad had water in his cellar but not bad, his brother had 4 feet of water in his finished of basement! He wants to clean up and put up a for sale sign and build on a mountain! Do you blame him?
